So many recently-joined members showed an interest in philosophy that the existing groups could not absorb them, and also most of these new members generally have little or no philosophy background, so we are launching this new "beginners" group.   It will start with introductory level material, so that members are reviewing what philosophy is and some history, key concepts and learn how to get into the subject. The group is not following a formal training course and is not led by a tutor: topics will be chosen by members.
