We are a very recently formed group - all ‘rookies’ to a Book Club - so very much feeling our way, gathering suggestions for book titles, getting to know each other, working out our group ground rules to try to ensure a variety of styles, topics & genres, and how best to approach discussion.  This is a great time to join us - click the coordinator's name above to send us a message, and perhaps you can join us at our next meeting?

Forthcoming Books

Previous Books

  • This book proved an eye-opener for many of us; the Vietnam war was a period we had all lived through but was perhaps not appreciated for the far-reaching impact it had on people involved.

  • A book which prompted discussion, we felt it encouraged us to ‘embrace the present and find strength in the face of the unknown'. 3/5

  • This was a long book of historical fiction from a prize-winning author.  Overall our group considered it lengthy, somewhat predictable and unrealistic.
