Some of our Interest Group are very popular and reach the limit of the number of members that can be accepted.  We want to make all prospective members welcome and do our best to accommodate them.  If you are hoping to join a Group that is full please contact our Interest Groups Administrator (IGA), who will be able to help you.  Here are some of the possible ways the IGA might help:

Get you on a waiting list

The IGA might be able to put you on a waiting list if there is some hope of there being a space in the Group in the near future.  The IGA will then contact you at intervals to let you know where you are in the queue.

Help you try other Groups

If there is no realistic possibility of you joining the Group, the IGA can advise on other Groups that you might consider joining, and arrange for you to go along to a meeting to see if it would suit you.

Help form a new Group

The IGA will know if there are other members interested or waiting to join the Group, in which case forming a new Group is a possibility.  The ssu3a Committee strongly encourages this, and the IGA will provide all the advice and guidance needed to get the Group running.
