Racketball is played on a squash court, with similar rules.  It uses a larger, bouncier ball, so the rallies are that bit slower - but they can go on a bit longer!  Beginners have found it quick to learn and can get a good workout right from the start.  It’s an ideal game for men and women and players of different ability play together.  New players are always welcome - beginners, regular or returning racquet sport players.

We book the courts from 9:45 to 10:30.  We just play each other, swapping pairs round after each game.  It's good to win of course, but we play socially rather than ultra-competitively.  The courts are past the club house, through the tennis courts, at the far end of the site.

If you are thinking of joining us, do come along for a trial session.  Contact the co-ordinator (Richard B.) during the previous week so we know you're coming and to get details and answers to any questions.  You will need basic squash or tennis kit particularly non-marking shoes or trainers.  We can find rackets to get you started.
