Six Members attended the first meeting of this new group.

We discussed the aims of the Group, and the format of future meetings.  We had a little practice saying things about ourselves in French, and also had some fun trying to decipher some strange idiomatic French that we might come across in ordinary conversation.

Cheese and wine (French - of course!) were kindly provided by our host, Hannah.
